Washington D.C., the District of Columbia, and also known as "The District" to locals and the "Capital" to the rest of the nation. It is a city created based on freedom founded after the Americans won the Revolutionary War against the British and named after the first president, George Washington.
The flag of Washington D.C. is based on the Coat of Arms, General Washington (the first president) that was used to identify the Washington family. The Coat of Arms contains 3 stars above two stripes. From this coat of arms is where the idea of "stars and stripes" evolved which led to the United States of America's flag design.
To honor General George Washington's Coats of Arms, and the service he has brought to this country, TribalAF includes the 3 stars on most of the Washington AF line.
